Use 2% La / W successfully for both ferrous and aluminium alloy welding. Reduces the number of electrodes I need to stock, they work well seem to last well and avoid the use of radioactive electrodes.

I have an R-Tech TIG welder and the torch is to supplement that to allow low amperage welding on thin steel and stainless steel. Good product, plug and play and delivers what I was hoping for. It does make welding thinner gauge metals more straightforward as it is smaller and lighter

Ok I suppose. I haven’t got the full hang of my TIG yet and I am still trying out all the settings (and there are a lot of them lol) think I need a bit more practice. If it is a good as the 2.4mm I purchased, when I get used to it, then yes I will recommend
