A great kit for anyone getting into TIG welding like myself

A very comprehensive kit that compliments the welder & filling rods

Torch fairly heavy but because I?m teaching myself to tig I will get more practise before swapping to a smaller/ lighter option

I will always hold my hand up and admit I'm wrong, but... Maybe it's because I'm new to TIG, but having already welded 1mm steel at very low amps, with the defacto 2.4mm tungsten, I cannot see why I need this kit with: A. 1mm (and 1.6mm) parts, and; B. so many Collets & Collet Bodies! (Not having a go at the advice I was given in Pre-Sales, but I openly admitted that I knew almost nothing about TIG at that point.) Doing my homework online and watching many youtube experts (some of whom you recommend) I can very soon see me changing to using Gas Lenses. Like the rods, I trust I will be able to swap these parts for others when I next pass by!?

meets my requirement. maybe you coult put a white heat shield in for someone starting. I put all my m/c etc in a big plastic box. I then noticed the white heat shield had dropped off onto the floor. It needs somthing to hold it in place untill assembled.
