Im a tig welder building and fabricating turbo dysyems for old school carburetted motorcycles. I weld exhaust systems , headers , plenums etc Great quality machine . Didnt fit my own mask so ordered a new one to fit

Saves wearing my glasses. Clips in easily..It does need coating in the same stuff your glasses do to stop it steaming up

Great addition saving using glasses with a mask.

very clear polycarbonate lens. fits well into my large field of view lens helmet, but obviously only covers half of that view. however it works well, and is very nice not to have to keep putting glasses on and off

the 2.5x one is great, really helps get closer to the weld than would be possible without the lens.

After a quick call to R .tech I bought a welding mask and clip in magnifying glass. I wish I?d done it years ago. Very pleased. Only one criticism of the mask. You have to be careful when laying the mask down as the front glass is easily damaged and there is very little protection to stop this. Otherwise very pleased

Now I don?t need to use my glasses.

Didn't really fit the mask I got with the welder but seems to be a standard size so I trimmed the width to fit. It works well and is great if you normally wear reading glasses.

A good welding helmet. View of the weld is an improvement on the normal helmet I use. The strap is a bit flimsy compared to my previous helmet. A solar powered option would be an improvement.

I can now see what I am doing, which seems to be making a difference!

For glasses wearers these are essential I have recommended to all my colleagues.

I hadnt used a magnifying lens when welding before but now I wouldn't weld without one as it means being able to look more closely at what's happening without have to get your face quite so close and into the fumes and splatter. I would have given it 5* if I'd been able to slip it straight straight into my mask but it was a tad too wide to fit but a quick rub down the ends with a flap wheel on the angle grinder soon made it fit!

Not sure about this - It is smaller than my XL-V2 welding mask screen, so it is a bit limiting and fiddly to look through. I need to persevere with it a bit more before I write it off though.

Works well as "reading glasses" along with my contact lenses.
