The retaining caps on the Plasma torch don’t like to get too close to other metal object while in use as the tend to *** through to the guide and then need replacing .

This type of spacer does drag a bit more than other types, making it a little difficult to move the torch smoothly. The grub screw/thread is also so fine that after a bit of use, undoing it isn't really an option.
