I haven't used the 5 kg pack of 7018 rods yet but like everything else from r-tech, well packaged arrived next day I am sure they will be fine

I purchased these rods to weld a top plate on an rsj, A first for me, welding at height on underneath, cleaned areas, cutting wheel to groove across **, rods worked well, R-Tech 250 amp mig welder step on stick.

Not used much but seem good. Arc striking can be challenging but par for the course for 7018's

Excellent equipment, used for the installation of radiation shielded doors, worked without problem at all.

Good quality electrode - lays a lovely spatter free bead with easy to chip slag - but can be difficult to re-strike an arc (but this is same as all 7018 not just this make)
