Use these rods for mild steel. Really nice to weld with to get clean welds.

It works. It?s filler rod. Like oxy rods it gets consumed. Not experienced enough with it to say more.

TIG 160 PDC Machine is good. I am using it to training myself in TIG welding and then I want to open my own small business. Later on would go for AC/DC to do same aluminium training. With that machine have repaired my car's rotten body. "Puls" function on that job was very useful. Did some welding in cast iron. Titanium, stainless steel is no a problem, mild steel all that is pleasure to weld. Weld bead is sound and clean. Even for beginner like me it is easy to use and set up amps and other functions when needed. The First lessen have learned is to keep everything clean before welding. The preparation in TIG welding is the key to be successful. Tungsten has to be sharp and clean. Workpieces got to be clean and degreased properly too. Sharpening tungsten was the biggest challenge at same point. That was an another learning curve and finding my own ways around some issue. I am very happy with the product from R-Tech. I like it! For the first time I do enjoy welding because it dose not stinks like stick rod welder and working with it in small garage is awesome. Likewise it is better to my health and environment too. So for dose who hesitate to buy it please don't - go for one !
